Hisart Museum Participated in the Exhibition of World War I and the War of Independence  Women Heroes

The Exhibition of World War I and the War of Independence Women Heroes was held at the Panorama 25 December Museum in Gaziantep.

The Exhibition of Women Heroes in the 1st World War and the War of Independence, consisting of works belonging to the Hisart Live History Museum collection; It was an exhibition about the hardships of Turkish women, the responsibilities they took and the heroism they showed during the struggle of an occupied country and a people trying to be destroyed under heavy conditions despite all the absences during the World War I and the War of Indepence.

Within the scope of the exhibition, documents and photographs of the Nursing courses established by the Red Crescent Society (KIZILAY), aid badges and postcards, medals and letters belonging to the first Turkish nurse, Safiye Hüseyin Elbi, as well as photographs and documents showing the activities of carrying ammunition and supplies during the war, cartridges. Photographs of women and children working in the factory, postcards, accessories, badges, medals, Orders of Compassion, letters, propaganda posters, newspaper copies of the period, information documents and photographs were presented to the visitors.
