Jury Evaluation Interviews and Report of the 2023 Çuhadaroğlu Student Project Competition, which was held for the 19th time this year, was held on September 30, 2023, and the Award and Colloquium Ceremony was held on November 6, 2023, at ITU Faculty of Architecture Taşkışla Campus.
The jury was held on September 30, 2023, at ITU Taşkışla Campus. As a result of the evaluation meeting, the full list of winners of the 2023 Çuhadaroğlu Student Project Competition was announced. The jury evaluation report, hosted by ITU, was published in detail on the website www.ogrenciprojeyarismasi.com and social media accounts named #ogrenciprojeyarismasi. The Dean of ITU Faculty of Architecture, Çuhadaroğlu Management, Jury-Rapporteur team and students attended the ceremony held on November 6. The ceremony took place in 4 consecutive sessions, including opening speeches, demonstration of projects, colloquium and award presentation. Students experienced an interactive colloquium process with the jury panel in the question and answer section. The participants who were successful in the competition were presented with their plaques and certificates by the Dean of ITU Faculty of Architecture, Çuhadaroğlu Management, Jury and Rapporteur team.
The winners table of the competition, in which 37 projects were evaluated and meticulously evaluated by the jury, was determined as follows. The award winners of this year's competition were the students who participated in the competition with team participation.
First Prize; The second prize was given to METU students Eylül Aydın Şimşek and Utku Kan, the second prize was given to ITU students Beste Bozkurt and Meryem Abdulkadir, and the third prize was given to Bilgi University students Zeynep Zorlu, Miray Şimşek, Yade Sıla Kahraman.
This year's winners of the Honorable Mention awards were determined as follows: İrem Naz Özgan, Seren Esen from ITU students, Kaan Kağızmam, Zeynep Ece Katipoğlu, Elif Yalçın from Gebze Technical University students, Melih Kut, Şükrü Köse, Osman Kılınç, Muhammed Said Karakaya from Trakya University students received an honorable mention award.
The winners of the Special Jury Awards, given by the jury in their own classification, were also given to the students who presented their projects with team participation. Muğla Sıtkı Koçma University student Süleyman Uluışık, Pamukkale University student Bilge Uluışık, YTU students Ahmet Hilmi Yılmaz, Batuhan Seçkin, Berkan Sarı, Atalay Fersiz, Andaç Güney, Ezgi Özdil, who presented their projects with team participation, received their awards.
METU Department of Architecture will host the 2024 Çuhadaroğlu Student Project Competition.
